REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
The County Health System Health Policy and Planning Division is seeking to
update the public website http://www.gethealthysmc.org. The goal is improve the look of the existing
site, strengthen the connection with the County Health System’s public website, and
improve navigation to enhance access and usability.
The scope of this project includes:
1. Planning and strategy: work with project director and staff to identify primary uses for
the site and create a navigational strategy to display new and existing content (SMCHS
will be responsible for providing all content and timeline for delivering this to vendor
will be negotiated once a vendor is selected).
2. Information Architecture: develop organizational structure for displaying content (note
that most of the content on the existing site will not be included on the new site. The
new site should be simpler and action oriented).
3. Design: should strengthen connection with San Mateo County Health System’s (new)
public website.
