Investigative Nurse Surveyor
The Department is soliciting bids for one registered nurse (RN) to conduct statutorily mandated annual unannounced site visits to the facilities (20 ILCS 1305/1-17(f)) and to provide clinical consultations in statutorily mandated investigations into deaths and allegations of abuse/neglect (20 ILCS 1305/1-17(a)). As a critical component of the statutory mission, site visits require participation by a reviewer with clinical training and experience in surveying. This training and experience enables recommendations to prevent abuse/neglect at facilities providing mental health or developmental disability services, and it ensures timely completion of site visit reports
