Purpose: The purpose of this Request for Grant Application (RFA) is to solicit applications for funding. DAI, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking prospective partners (civil society organizations and private-sector companies) who can propose creative approaches to address development challenges through the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools. ICT examples include social media, websites, games, interactive voice response hotlines, mobile app, etc.
Who is Development Innovations?
Development Innovations is a five year USAID-funded project designed to grow and support an information and communications technology for development (ICT4D) community in Cambodia. The project helps civil society organizations (CSOs), social enterprises and technology companies design and use information and communication technology (ICT) solutions to address Cambodia's development challenges.
What is the RFA looking to fund?
The RFA seeks to support CSOs and private-sector companies with ICT ideas that address the development challenges in Cambodia. The RFA seeks to fund the following activities:
Design and/or test of ICT Tool
Use ICT to test content or messaging with users
Improvement and/or localization of existing tool/technology
Deployment of Tool, including funds for marketing costs, communication strategies and/or promotion of the deployment of the tool.
