This document specifies the AVL system that will be procured as an essential part of the Fleet Management System. These are parts of a larger Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) program that is deploying a range of integrated ITS technologies. The program will provide customers with better information and a more seamless travel experience, while also providing ways for transit operators and managers to operate the system more efficiently.
