The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion, and Repair, Gulf Coast (SSGC) intends to conduct a sole-source procurement for Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) Engineering and Management Services for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) 12 (USS Omaha). Requirements include labor and material to support LCS 12 schedule for PSA. The place of performance for this requirement is San Diego, California. Work is projected to start approximately August 01, 2017 with an expected duration through approximately August 31, 2018. These requirements will be procured as a modification to Delivery Order 7F18 which is issued against the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-15-G-2304 issued to Austal USA, LLC 100 Addsco Drive, Mobile, AL 36602.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The notice is for informational purposes only. However, all responsible sources which submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation within thirty days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
