(3) Peristaltic Pumps with all required appurtenances
The City Water Purification Plant is requesting bids to furnish
peristaltic pumps and all appurtenances required for transferring concentrated lime
slurry from the lime slurry aging tank in the slaker room to the softening bins. Three (3)
new and unused hose pumps will be purchased by the Water Purification Plant.
Installation and field testing will be completed by plant maintenance staff to ready the
pump for operation as needed.
All hose pumps specified shall be the product of one manufacturer furnished by a single
supplier and produced by a manufacturer regularly engaged in the production of such
equipment. The manufacturer must be able to provide pumps and accessories which
are integral to pump operation and specified herein as a fully assembled package. This
includes, but is not limited to, pumps, gear reducers, motors, pulsation dampeners, leak
detectors, and drives.
