MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY COLLECTIONS ACCESS SYSTEM
The Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia hereinafter referred to
as 'MOA' or 'UBC,' is seeking Proposals from an individual or firm to work with select
museum staff in order to design and build a system that will provide electronic access to
collections data and other museum information within the Multiversity Galleries. This
system is being called the Multiversity Galleries Collections Access System and is
hereinafter referred to as the MVG-CAT.
Key components of the MVG-CAT for MOA are that the system be intuitive, functional, elegant
and durable with a look that is both fresh and complementary to the existing design
language of the building. The visual expression of the MVG-CAT needs to echo the elegant
new gallery design by supporting visual access to the collections for a diverse audience
