Implementation of Tobacco Quitline
The State intends to secure a contact to provide a statewide, free, telephone based assistance program to assist callers to quit tobacco use and to serve as the State's access line for tobacco cessation information, proactive quit counseling, and referral to local support services. The contract shall also provide for a statewide media campaign to motivate quitting amongst all tobacco users, including those who may or may not seek Quitline assistance.
