TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
For ALL ITEMS, Mill Test Reports MUST BE FURNISHED WITH SHIPMENT FOR ALL
HEAT LOTS PROVIDED.
Item One - Pre Fabricated Signs:
All sign faces shall be fabricated with 3-M DG Cubed Series 4000, ASTM TYPE XI Sign face
sheeting materials. Imaging shall be provided using 3M EC Film Series 1170. Inks are not
permitted. All signs are to be .080 Gauge, 6061-T6 OR 5052-H38 Aluminum Alloy treated with
Alondine 1200 Conversion coating, 3/8 diameter holes punched, center on top and bottom,
horizontal axis with standard 1-1/2 radius corners. NO SUBSTITUTIONS
Items Two and Three - Pre Fabricated Signs:
All sign faces shall be fabricated with 3-M Prismatic High Intensity Series 3930, ASTM TYPE
IV Sign face sheeting materials. Imaging shall be provided using 3M EC Film Series 1170. Inks
are not permitted. All signs are to be .080 Gauge, 6061-T6 OR 5052-H38 Aluminum Alloy
treated with Alondine 1200 Conversion coating, 3/8 diameter holes punched, center on top and
bottom, horizontal axis with standard 1-1/2 radius corners. OR APPROVED EQUAL.
Items Four through Seven Pre Fabricated Signs:
All sign faces shall be fabricated with 3-M Prismatic High Intensity Series 3930, ASTM TYPE
IV Sign face sheeting materials. Inks per 3M matched component system required. Signs shall be
covered with 3M Premium Protective Overlay Film Series 1160. All signs are to be .080 Gauge,
6061-T6 OR 5052-H38 Aluminum Alloy treated with Alondine 1200 Conversion coating, 3/8
diameter holes punched, center on top and bottom, horizontal axis with standard 1-1/2 radius
corners. OR APPROVED EQUAL.
Items Eight through Ten Sign Faces:
All sign faces shall be fabricated with 3M Prismatic High Intensity series 3930, ASTM TYPE IV
sign face sheeting materials. All imaging shall be provided using 3M EC Film Series 1170. OR
APPROVED EQUAL.
Items Eleven through Thirteen Sign Blanks:
All sign blanks are to be .080 gauge Aluminum, 6061-T6 or 5052-H38 Aluminum Alloy treated
with Alondine 1200 Conversion Coating, 3/8 Diameter holes punched, center on top and
bottom, horizontal axis with standard 1-1/2 radius corners.
