the economy and the slowing of county growth the County feels that it is time for a
review of its Emergency Medical System to determine how to best approach the futures
quality and quantity of services. The review is to specifically look at interagency
coordination, cooperation, quality, and quantity of services provided, and a roadmap of
how to approach the future. Beaufort County believes that it provides a quality Emergency
Medical System and that this review will help determine how to maintain and improve
services as growth in the county and demand for services increase.
